Sinet's approach to SharePoint training

SharePoint 2010 is a very extensive product and as such training on SharePoint is split into a number of specialisations or groupings.  Training can be split into subject areas such as End User, Executive, Systems Administrator, Designer, Developer, Business Intelligence Specialist, Business Analyist, or Publisher.

For End User Training it is often the case that they need training on the specific part of the SharePoint system they are going to use rather than on 'SharePoint' itself and this is where Sinet Consulting can really help.  Businesses do not normally just install 'SharePoint' but instead they implement SharePoint to be an information system such as an Intranet, a Search Portal, a Business Intelligence Centre, a Document Management System, a Records Centre, an Invoice Tracking system, a Expenses System, a Help Desk, or a Risk Management System.  Sinet believe that in many of these cases it you should train on the system and not on SharePoint itself.

 Sinet Consulting do not offer mainstream Microsoft Certified SharePoint training on specific subjects like Systems Administration or Development as there are other companies that specialise in SharePoint training (and we would recommend Combined Knowledge as an excellent company for SharePoint training). Who needs training for SharePoint?

SharePoint based systems are information systems and their implementation and training should be considered carefully as with all new information system within a workplace.
