Sinet Consulting Ltd deliver the migration of a Glasgow based customer's data from Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 to Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011.
Sinet Consulting Ltd were asked to assist in the migration of data from a Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0 hosted system to a Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online system. The migration consisted of migrating all of the client's current customisations and historical client contact information from the source system to the target system and verifying the data. You might think this would be a relatively easy task but it is not and we needed to use a 3rd party product called Scribe Insight. Scribe Insight has a connector specifically designed migrating to Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online and this enabled the migration with all historical activities maintained. Sinet Consulting Ltd deliver detailed customisations for Hawksford International's Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 system.
Hawksford International are a Wealth Management organisation based in Jersey, Channel Islands. Sinet Consulting Ltd were contracted to deliver customisations to their Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 system. Customisation for Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 allows the product to meet the specific needs of the client and creates a software tool that can really benefit the business. Sinet Consulting Ltd deliver the rebranding of Hawksford International's Intranet Site.
Hawksford International are a Wealth Management organisation based in Jersey, Channel Islands. Sinet Consulting Ltd were contracted to deliver the redesign of Hawksford's Intranet site to show Hawksford's new brand image. Sinet Consulting Ltd restore Irvine Housing association's SharePoint farm to operation.
Irvine Housing Association (IHA), based in Irvine, Scotland, contacted Sinet Consulting Ltd because they had lost access to their SharePoint farm that they were using for an Intranet, document management and collaboration site. They had had another supplier in to fix it but now things were worse! Sinet Consulting were able to restore the farm and fix another long standing issue within two hours of attending on-site. Another satisfied customer and hopefully repeat business and good recommendations for Sinet Consulting Ltd.

Server 2010 - Name Announced.
Microsoft have announced that the next version of Microsoft Office SharePoint Server will be called Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010.
Those of you that are alert will notice that the word 'Office' has been dropped from the title of the product and this is apparently because Microsoft don't want to create the impression that SharePoint is just an add-on for the Office Suite of products, which of course if funny because in 2007 they put the 'Office' into the title so we would associate is with the Office Suite. Details of the new product are very few at present (unless you've signed an NDA with Microsoft) but they have announced that you will need Windows Server 2008 64-bit, (or R2 64-bit), SQL Server 2005/2008 64-bit, and the new product will be 64-bit only. We believe the release date has been decoupled from the release date for Office Suite 2010 which should appear in late 2009 and we should expect the release version of Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010 to be 2nd Quarter 2010.

On 27 March 2009 Sinet Consulting completed the delivery of a SharePoint Consultancy and system implementation project for a major investment fund management firm in Edinburgh. The contract included the delivery of a number of new business application based on Windows SharePoint Services 3.0, Search Server 2008, and Microsoft Office Forms Server 2007 delivering electronic forms, document management, and business process workflow. - Microsoft to fold Performance Point

Microsoft have announced that Microsoft Office Performance Point Server will become part of Microsoft Office SharePoint Server in the next edition.
