What is a CRM System?
Nearly every successful orgainsation relies on its customer or contacts base to sell products or services. Even an organisation like a Charity needs to market itself to both its donators and those that it helps. Businesses and non-profit organisations that need to track and manage all of the various interactions with their customers/contacts frequently deploy a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software package to support their internal processes for:
- Achieving a 360-degree view of the customer/contact relationship
- automating common business processes to reduce manual tasks
- delivering a more consistent customer experience
- enabling the business/organisation management to measure and report on how the business is performing and therefore make better strategic decisions.
Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 doesn't do everything for you; it is an excellent addition to the tools you use in you business to help you deliver a better service, and hopefully make a bigger profit.
